How Lune works
Lune is a self-serve AI creative studio built for ecommerce brands running paid ads. You upload your product, configure your brand once, and generate ready-to-launch ad creatives for every major platform — without briefing a designer, booking a photoshoot, or waiting on an agency. Everything happens in the app, in minutes.

Studio
The Studio is where most creative production happens. Upload a product photo, pick your settings, and generate a full batch of ad creatives in one click.
- AI ad generation — Upload any product photo and Lune generates a complete set of ad creatives tailored to your chosen platforms and creative style. No prompting required.
- Multi-platform output — Select any combination of Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Google. All formats for all selected platforms are generated in a single run.
- Campaign goals — Tell Lune what you're trying to achieve: drive conversions, grow awareness, retarget past visitors, launch a new product, or run a seasonal promotion. The creative direction adjusts accordingly.
- Creative styles — Choose from seven built-in visual directions: Luxury, Gift Moment, Problem Solver, Social Proof, Minimal, Lifestyle, and Product Image. Each style changes the mood, lighting, and layout of your output.
- Variations — Generate multiple creative variations per campaign. Each variation explores a different visual angle on the same product and brief. Restyle any variation in one click to try a new direction without starting over.
- Batch Generate — Run generation across multiple products at once. Useful for catalogues or collections where you need a full creative set per SKU.
Creative Canvas
Creative Canvas is a free-form image generator. Unlike the Studio — which is structured around product photos and ad formats — the Canvas accepts any prompt and produces any visual. Use it for campaign hero images, lifestyle backgrounds, editorial compositions, or anything that doesn't fit a template.
- Prompt-based generation — Describe what you want in plain language. The AI interprets your intent and produces a high-quality image matching your description.
- Aspect ratio control — Select from digital formats (16:9, 1:1, 9:16, 4:5, 2:3) or print formats (A4, A3, A5, Letter) before generating.
- Resolution — Output at 0.5K, 1K, or 2K resolution. Higher resolution is available on the Pro model.
- Negative prompt — Optionally specify what to exclude from the output — unwanted elements, colours, or styles — for more precise results.
Brand Kit
The Brand Kit stores your brand identity and applies it automatically to every creative you generate. You configure it once and it works across all Studio generations.
- Brand colours — Add your primary, secondary, and accent colours. Lune uses these to guide the colour palette of generated creatives.
- Typography — Specify your primary and display fonts. These inform the text styling applied in generated creatives.
- Logo & assets — Upload your logo and product images. Lune references these assets when composing creatives.
- Multiple brand kits — Create separate brand kits for different brands or sub-brands. Switch the active kit per campaign. Available on Pro and above.
Formats & Platforms
Lune generates creatives in the native formats for each advertising platform. All formats are produced in a single generation — no manual resizing or adapting required after the fact.
- Meta — 1:1 square for Feed and 4:5 portrait for Meta Ads. Both are generated automatically when Meta is selected.
- TikTok & Reels — 9:16 vertical format optimised for full-screen mobile. Safe zones are applied so key content stays visible.
- Pinterest — 2:3 portrait, the recommended format for Pinterest Pins and shopping ads.
- Google Display — 16:9 landscape format for Google Display Network placements.
- Resize & Adapt — Adapt any existing creative to a new format without regenerating. Useful for repurposing a high-performing creative across platforms.
Library & Export
Every creative you generate is saved automatically to your Creative Library. You can browse, organise, and export at any time — nothing is lost between sessions.
- Creative Library — All generated creatives stored in one place, filterable by format, platform, campaign, and date.
- Campaigns — Group related creatives into campaigns for structured planning and review. Available on Starter and above.
- Bulk download — Download all creatives from a campaign or variation set as a single zip, organised by platform and format. Ready to upload directly to Ads Manager.
- Pin — Pin your best creatives for quick access and to mark them for use in a campaign.
Base & Pro Model
Lune offers two model tiers you can switch per generation. Base is optimised for speed and cost — ideal for rapid iteration and testing. Pro is optimised for output quality and detail — ideal for final production creatives.
- Base — Fast generation, lower credit cost. 300 credits per platform in Studio, 100 credits per generation in Creative Canvas. Best for early-stage testing and volume.
- Pro — Higher detail, richer composition, up to 2K resolution. 1,000 credits per platform in Studio, 400 credits per generation in Creative Canvas. Best for final creatives going live.
- Per-generation switching — You choose the model tier on each individual generation. There is no account-level lock-in — you can mix Base and Pro freely within the same session.
Team & Seats
Every Lune plan supports team collaboration. The account owner can invite additional team members who share the plan's features and credit pool.
- Team seats — Invite team members by email. Seats inherit the owner's plan and have access to the same brand kits, library, and tools.
- Shared credits — All seats draw from the account owner's credit pool. Credit usage is visible to the owner.
- Seat management — The account owner can invite, view, and remove seats from the Settings page. Seats cannot manage other seats.
